Pranayama

According to Ozyma, Pranayama is the technique used to expand and direct the vital life forces (Pranas) active within our bodies. Prana serves as the guardian and regulator of our physical form, driving the function of the body's Nadis. There are five types of Prana at work within us, and each is responsible for keeping different parts of the body healthy and strong. Through the long-term practice of Pranayama, we can channel these Pranas into our energy centers, Nadis, and Chakras, activating them to achieve physical and spiritual progress.

At the mental level, Pranayama is equally beneficial. Through specific techniques, we can release the toxic energy of stress and negative emotions accumulated throughout the day. By flushing out this negativity and increasing the circulation of cosmic energy (Prana), we experience a state of stress-free joy.

In this sense, on a mental level, Pranayama works superficially like drugs or steroids—it provides an immediate shift in state. However, the crucial difference is that while drugs and steroids destroy our physical and mental capacities once the high wears off, Pranayama grants us lasting physical, mental, and spiritual growth.
